There's definitely something for everybody, a wonderful area with lots to do and great non-ski facilities. A great selection of bars and pubs cover the full spectrum from traditional oompah band to nightclubs.

Ski Information...

Unlike most other Austrian ski holidays, Saalbach is literally a “Ski-Circus” - you can ski around the whole valley and over 200km of marked runs without walking or bussing. Ski holidays in Saalbach will not fail to disappoint!

Beginners:

Ski holidays in Saalbach provide plenty of long blues on the whole circuit and good nursery slopes in Hinterglemm.

Intermediates:

Saalbach offers a massive choice of sunny cruising, ski tours and glorious, long runs through trees. There's a perfect snaking blue slope with excellent snow at the mid station of the Schattberg gondola.

Advanced:

Full of challenging skiing, Saalbach’s ski circus make it a fantastic ski resort for advanced skiers. Good skiers with thighs of steel can probably do the whole circuit in a day, but even for the really keen skiers, it's a challenge!

Snowboarding:

Saalbach is also a top resort for snowboarders with fun parks, wonderful off-piste and a sympathetic lift system. There is a professional terrain park at the Unterschwarzachlift in Hinterglemm and a Snowpark at the Asitzmuldenbahn in Leogang. There is also a Snowskate area which has two jumps and two snowskate trails.
