Santa Eulalia holidays take you to the east coast of Ibiza, north of the capital and only twenty kilometres from the airport. It is the island's third largest town and has much more to offer visitors than a purpose built resort. Holidays to Santa Eulalia attract families, particularly those with small children, and couples of all ages. The long, broad, sandy beach slopes gently in the the clear warm water, ideal for weak swimmers, and there are water sports for the more energetic visitor. Holidays in Santa Eulalia offer a relaxing break in friendly surroundings. A very attractive palm-lined promenade, complete with fountain and small gardens, borders the beach. If you fancy a change of scene, fFerries leave the port regularly for various resorts including Ibiza Town. There is also a service to the beautiful island of Formentera with its gleaming white sands and brilliant blue waters.

"One of my favourite holiday destinations is Ibiza I have been there quite a few times now and I have visited many different resorts. Many people who haven't been before still have the idea that its just a party island and while that is true for certain resorts many families miss out on an excellent holiday destination when they bypass Ibiza. The waters in most resorts are lovely and stretch for miles with coves along the way so finding a secluded spot for sunbathing isn't a problem. While being in the euro its not the cheapest place but if you shop around and many of the restaurants serve traditional dishes at reasonable prices and service is 1st class.(look out for the "lookie lookie man" he has a coat and brief case full of not quite so designer gear" but is quite charming and you can barter him down for a bargain!) our 2 children were ammused with the many waterparks and watersports available on the beach and the charter boats give an excellent way to see sights of the island. If you fancy something off the beaten track you can visit the arabic historical ruins which many of the local excursion shops will see you, alough we didn't do this a couple staying at our hotel did and thought it was a great trip. we stayed at the Nautico Ebesos hotel and cant reccomend it highly enough staff were really friendly and Monika the DJ was amazing! will return to this hotel again.
