Prague...
Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic and is situated in the North West of the country on the Vltava River. It was founded by the Romanesque and was the seat of 2 Holy Roman Emperors. Prague is the 6th most visited city in Europe and has become a very popular tourist destination. During World War II, Prague suffered considerably less damage than some of the other major cities, therefore a lot of the historic architecture is still true to form. It is listed on the list of World Heritage Sites, due to having more than 10 museums, theatres and other historical sights. Some of the main attractions include the Lennon Wall, Old Town Square and the Petrin Hill.
The main shopping area of Prague is along Wenceslas Square, Na Prikope and Republic Square. Wenceslas Square and Na Prikope are pedestrianised areas and offer a good selection of department store, local shops and banks. Slovansky Dum Shopping Centre offers boutique stores, cinema and restaurants. The Old Town Square has a permanent market selling arts, crafts and souvenirs. The most expensive street in Prague is Parizska Street. This street is home to luxury International boutiques and brands including Cartier as well as restaurants.
